Technical Delivery Manager

Job description

Mayten, a leading player in mobility technology, is actively seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager with a track record of building software products from scratch. In this role, you'll lead and inspire a team while driving technical excellence and managing end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and high coding standards.
• Lead the architectural design of software solutions, make informed tech decisions, and ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Get your hands dirty with coding and problem-solving.
• Oversee code reviews to maintain code quality and uniformity.
• Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, and a culture of continuous learning.
  

Team Management:

• Recruit and hire top talent to strengthen the team.
• Motivate and empower team members to perform at their best.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Set and track individual and team performance goals.
  

Delivery Management:

• Keep projects on time and within scope.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Act as a client liaison, keeping them informed of project status and any adjustments.
• Manage team capacity, project prioritization, and deadlines to meet milestones.
• Track and report on project progress and ensure the achievement of team velocity and key project milestones.
• Troubleshoot obstacles to project success.

Qualifications

• Proven Technical Expertise: 6 to 10 years of experience in a relevant role with a strong technical foundation in software development.
• Software Development: A demonstrated track record of successfully building software products from the ground up.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, MongoDB, NextJS, TypeScript, and React Native.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities, guiding the team toward technical excellence.
• Agile Proficiency: Mastery of agile methodologies, techniques, and best practices for software development.
• Technical Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills regarding technical aspects, dependencies, and project priorities.
